This August, Defected take over the Garden Resort in Tisno, Croatia for what is sure to be the festival of the Summer, with 5 nights of House music set against the backdrop of Croatia’s breathtaking Adriatic coast. Sunday night will see Traxsource LIVE! host the legendary Barbarella’s, Croatia’s iconic nightlife venue, with Honey Dijon, Session Victim, Fred Everything, Luke Solomon and Eli Escobar for a night of unparalleled musical mayhem, with the top-tier lineup spinning everything from Chicago House, Soul and Hip-Hop through to classic Disco jams.
With the chance to party poolside, Oceanside, on a boat or in the club with the best that Defected In The House, Strictly Rhythm, Glitterbox, Classic MusicCo. and DFTD have to offer, including sets from Basement Jaxx, Dennis Ferrer, Kenny Dope, Roger Sanchez, Noir, Purple Disco Machine and more, Defected Croatia is bound to be a week you won’t forget.
Inspired by the likes of legendary House pioneers Ron Hardy, Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, Green Velvet, and Frankie Knuckles, Honey Dijon’s sound is a fusion of the deep New York underground and her Chicago roots. Spinning everything from old-school Chicago House, Disco, Soul and Funk to Tech-House and Tribal, she refuses to be pigeon-holed and is revered for her unique style.
A firm mainstay of the NYC club scene for the last two decades, running his Night People label, the Tiki Disco parties and pushing out modern Disco classics on legendary labels Nervous and Strictly Rhythm. Escobar’s style personifies the New York sound, seamlessly fusing floorfillers and House and Disco classics.
German vinyl aficionados Session Victim known for their eclectic sets, whether it’s fuelling their mesmerising live shows or their strictly-vinyl gigs demonstrating a combined record collection spanning decades with everything from Disco to Soul, Hip-Hop to House and Techno.
Luke Solomon’s career has seen him head up the celebrated Classic Music Company label with Chicago house legend Derrick Carter. An unsung legend in his own right, Solomon’s sets are a fresh mix showcasing everything House, from the underground to the classic.
From spinning live shows and raves in Canada in the early 90s to opening for Sasha in 1993, the Canadian’s sets frequently span everything from Techno, House, Ambient and Drum n Bass. Decades of experience behind the decks and a repertoire of music on the likes of 20:20 vision still keeps him one of the most interesting DJs on the scene.
