Home to the likes of MzJay, Maya Spector & AfroMove, the label has steadily supported and fuelled homegrown talent over the past 5 years, providing a unique platform to discover music in a vast majority of electronic genres, dipping into deep lounge, nujazz, soulful, techno, tribal, electro and more. Lyceum Social Club is back with another stunning release. The Glasgow label has gone from strength to strength, with just three releases under their belt and already garnering massive support from all corners, the brand new label is showing us that they are a serious force to be reckoned with. For their latest signing, they’ve recruited Affi Koman (an artist the heads will know from Huntleys+Palmers famous free comps) for the ‘Snuggle Monster’ EP. Koman drops an awesome package of two Disco House dancers plus ‘Snuggle Monster’ – An exploration into the weird and wonderful, great late-night stuff.
DJ Pope has put together an interesting retrospective of eleven 90’s underground Soulful House jewels (some of his favorites) that didn’t quite reach the massive commercial successes of 90’s Soulful House tunes we now deem classics but were strong dance-floor stompers that were certainly contenders for club land anthems. Over the years, Get Physical have consistently remained a source of forward-thinking underground House music. Headed up by M.A.N.D.Y. Booka Shade and DJ T, there was no way this couldn’t work.. Their label has been nothing short of influential, responsible for unearthing some of the finest electronic talent in the game today, the likes of Dixon, Catz N Dogz, Azari & III, SIS, Flashmob, Blond:ish,- the list goes on. Their latest offering falls in the form of Jazzuelle’s album, following on from the success of the album’s singles ‘Adaptions’ (a collaboration with Fred Everything), ‘Circles’, ‘Blood Moon” and ‘Towers’. We caught up with Jazzuelle to dive into the album in depth.

MoHo’s strategy of releasing intoxicating dance grooves which are not bound by any gimmicky trends, and memorable songs that stand the test of time has paid off since their doors first opened in 2002.
