Introducing 'Nurvous Records Volume II' Compilation

Nurvous should need no intro at this point, but if you need one, their second volume compilation will be sure to get you acquainted. With releases from stellar producers and re-mixes from the likes of Danny Daze, Lazaro Casanova, Maxxi Soundsystem and Kolombo; Nurvous seems to be cutting records with clear substance on the unadulterated nu-disco and deep house tip.

As one of the longest standing independent record labels in the US, Nervous Records has built its reputation through a willingness to take chances on new sounds and new producers. Fast forward to 2012, their deep rooted slash nu disco sub-label “Nurvous” is hosting a prime release schedule only with a few years in the making. Tracks like ‘Alley Cat’ from Volta Bureau stormed the charts last year with its amazing build-up and flawless drop.

The current comp on deck features a plentiful array of funk. Deep grooves outline the 4/4 format and many of the cuts host simple vocal goodness executed with class and without disappointment. Listen and enjoy, no fillers here.
