Over the years, Get Physical have consistently remained a source of forward-thinking underground House music. Headed up by M.A.N.D.Y. Booka Shade and DJ T, there was no way this couldn’t work.. Their label has been nothing short of influential, responsible for unearthing some of the finest electronic talent in the game today, the likes of Dixon, Catz N Dogz, Azari & III, SIS, Flashmob, Blond:ish,- the list goes on. Their latest offering falls in the form of Jazzuelle’s album, following on from the success of the album’s singles ‘Adaptions’ (a collaboration with Fred Everything), ‘Circles’, ‘Blood Moon” and ‘Towers’. We caught up with Jazzuelle to dive into the album in depth.
We had the pleasure of chatting with Evan Landes a.k.a “Groove Junkies” about his MoreHouse Records imprint which is about to celebrate its 15 Year Anniversary. MoHo’s strategy of releasing intoxicating dance grooves which are not bound by any gimmicky trends, and memorable songs that stand the test of time has paid off since their doors first opened in 2002. Each unique release can run the gamut stylistically – ranging from organic soul, funk, afro, latin, jazz and gospel drenched songs, to peak hour, deep, tribal, and electronic influenced tracks.

Legendary Strictly Rhythm A&R Gladys Pizzarro has some of the finest ears in the biz and has been responsible for finding and nurturing some of the greatest talent in the game including Roger Sanchez, Todd Terry, Kenny Dope, Erick Morillo and Armand Van Helden amongst others.. Label Layer 909 run by one of the UK’s biggest and fastest rising Techno artists, Phutek, has started to catch the attention of artists like Carl Cox, and Adam Beyer among others. This is attributed to the label’s “No nonsense driving Techno” motto, strong grooves, melodic vibes, and peak time energy.
