Ministry of Sound Rebrands
The entertainment giant ditches the iconic crown and gate logo for a minimal feel, designed by London studio Spin.

The design agency say they wanted to respect the history of the famous club / label whilst ‘simultaneously embracing the future’, choosing to retain ‘brackets’ theme around a central ‘M’ but losing the name in the icon.

The new design coincides with the nightlife brand’s 25th anniversary this year.

Glastonbury launches women-only stage ‘Sisterhood’
The UK festival has announced that this year it will host a special stage hidden within Shangri-La region called ‘Sisterhood’ for “all people who identify as women”.

If you find yourself stumbling upon this stage, expect to hear live music and DJs playing Disco, Bass, Pop, Riotgrrl, Punk and Funk plus they’ll be hosting a number of workshops on intersectionality, Diversity and even DIY.

Star in the new Transpotting Movie
Dig out the blazers and lycra, production for the Trainspotting sequel is well under way and they’re looking for extras to star in the film!

Danny Boyle and crew will be inviting 18-30s to club Cav in Edinburgh for a special 80s party scene on June 14th.

Dekmantel to host discussions, live interviews, panels and film screenings in addition to music schedule
This year, the Amsterdam festival will branch out to include a number of industry talks, screenings and panels. Resident Advisor will curate the program, which falls on the first day of the festival and includes live interviews with Surgeon and Marcellus Pittman.
