Franky Rizardo

I still love to get busy at Sushi Samba, must for me every time I’m there.
3. What’s the best venue(s) in Miami, where do you like to throw down some moves?
Heart Miami is definitely my favourite place. It has that Ibiza afterhours vibe and it’s one my of top places to play.

6. What’s your favourite classic miami track and what tracks do you predict are gonna be big in Miami this year!?

Miguel Migs
1. Where are you flying in from and are you ready for the madness?
I will be flying in from San Francisco… Always good times in Miami connecting with old friends, checking out some events, and doing our annual Salted party…
2. Where do you like to eat when you’re here, any favourite spots?
It depends on what part of town you’re in… If you’re in the South Beach area I love Lucali Pizza, and GoGo empanadas are always easy and satisfying. If you’re craving a delicious skirt steak La Parrilla on Washington is always good and very casual – and of course the infamous Puerto Sagua is our old school Cuban spot we have all been frequenting for 20 years now, so I have to throw that one in there… But there’s also good Sushi, Tacos, and just about everything around depending on your cravings.
3. What’s the best venue(s) in Miami, where do you like to throw down some moves?
I always like to move our Salted event around each year to different venues as it keeps things interesting and fun to me, and venues change ownership so frequently down there it’s crazy… Last year we did our party at the Epic Hotel Pool, and the year before was the rooftop at Eleven, and in past years we have done great events everywhere from Cafeina, The Vagabond, Trade (the old Liquid), the old 5th Club, The Living Room, Heathrow, The Pawn Shop, Shadow Lounge, Nikki Beach, The old Groove Jet and so many more… Its hard to keep up with the new names of these venues so i remember them this way by the old names…
h4. 4. Where can we catch you playing during Miami and who are you looking forward to seeing?
This year we are combing with Essential (who did a great party a couple years ago at Maps) and we are doing this year’s event at a lovely open air venue downtown called 1306… I love those open air night time events, so this should be fun as always…
5. What’s your favourite thing about Miami?
I love connecting with old friends and just hanging out – ever since the first time I went in the late 90’s I have always had a blast down there every year… and always look forward to the events we do every year, this will be our 13th annual Salted event and we have never missed a year.
6. What’s your favourite classic miami track and what tracks do you predict are gonna be big in Miami this year!?
So many memorable moments through the years… Always mixing things up, testing things out, and making custom edits to keep things fun, unique and interesting…
Billy Kenny
1. Where are you flying in from and are you ready for the madness?
I’ll be flying in a little early after shows on the East Coast the weekend before. Oh, I’m SO ready, i just had a taster playing at Space this past weekend and already can’t wait to be back!
2. Where do you like to eat when you’re here, any favourite spots?
I’m terrible with remembering names, but there’s an awesome Mexican eatery under a hotel in South Beach which i fell in love with last year. We all went there after our rooftop party last year at the Dream Hotel and put ourselves in a food coma to sleep for a few hours before the night time events kicked in.
3. What’s the best venue(s) in Miami, where do you like to throw down some moves?
I love Space after this past weekend but unfortunately won’t be playing there over MMW. Really looking forward to being back at Trade for the Dirtybird B2B Throwdown as well as E11EVEN’s roof top where our This Ain’t Bristol label party will be held Wednesday 22nd.
