
Final speakers and panelists announced for BMC 2017
Brighton Music Conference (#BMC17) has revealed it’s full line up of speakers and panelists for the two-day electronic music event being held at Brighton’s iconic Brighton Dome on Thursday 27th & Friday 28th April 2017.
Speakers and panelists join BMC from the BPI, PRS for Music, PPL, Ministry of Sound, Sony, Fabric, Live Nation, Beatport, Mixcloud, Mixmag, Defected, NTIA, Toolroom, Hospital Records, MMF, DJ Mag, AEI, UKF, Brapp TV, PIAS, Loopmasters, Insanity, Sub Club, Clintons, Crown Management, Roland, Serato, Sheridans, BIMM, Anglo Digital Management, Shogun Audio, and many more alonside artists including Mark Knight, Danny Howard (Radio 1), Prok & Fitch, Sam Divine, Josh Butler, My Nu Leng, Just Her amongst others.
Native Instruments will be hosting their popular Native Sessions, touching on the use of Maschine, Workflow, Kontakt, and Traktor. Whilst the Professional programme will present panels and topics such as ‘Streaming vs Radio’; ‘AFEM Presents Get Played, Get Paid’; an interview with Fabric’s Keith Reilly by NTIA’s Alan Miller; ‘How to Promote Diversity In Dance Music’; ‘What’s Next For Electronic Music?’; ‘BPI Presents Music Piracy’; ‘NTIA Presents Save Nightlife’; ‘Creative Law Presents: But it was only a “cheeky” re-edit? Copyright law and the Remix’; ‘BPI Presents ‘Sync In Progress’; ‘Music Recognition Technology: how does it work for you?’ moderated by Tim Arber, Head of Membership Support, PRS for Music, and ‘Giving Back in association with Last Night A DJ Save My Life Foundation’.
