Dennis Ferrer records are a rarity so when they come along you have to sit up and take note. His latest offering ‘Mind Ur Step’ sees the renowned producer team up with Chicago’s Janelle Kroll with exquisite results. The production on the record is as impressive as we’ve come to expect from Ferrer. Fiercely modulated bass throbs lead the way while twisted percussion and neon synths flick playfully in and out of the mix, leaving Kroll to deliver the emotional punch with her powerful vocal. Highly original, this is unlike anything Ferrer has previously produced yet undeniably bears his indelible stamp of quality.

1nce Again presents the second volume of the DJ Duke Presents Freedom – Closer Remixes. This time we have two stunning remixes from Sean McCabe and the Klubb Kidz Skool Vokal version remastered. These two remixes for 1nce Again is on the money and packed with good vibes. The NY Garage Mix takes us into classic house terrain with it’s bump and shuffle and the Club Mix is a joyful house-meets-garage monster with a healthy amount of soul. A fine example of less-is-more jack magic. Last but not least and to bring back some classic flavour there’s the Klubb Kidz Skool Vocal. 90s house magic!1nce Again presents the second volume of the DJ Duke Presents Freedom – Closer Remixes. Drums of Death has solidly been the underground’s DJ of choice for a while, receiving accolades on FACT, Dazed, DJ Mag and NTS Radio and more. Following standout remixes for Tricky, Franz Ferdinand & Peaches, he’s also earned big fans in the likes of Annie Mac and Hot Chip. Drums of Death has concocted a bonafide crossover sensation with the added magic of enlisting Yasmin: one of the most talked-about, high demand female vocalists following her pivotal feature on Gorgon City’s “Real” on BB.
