2. Zepherin Saint & Mr V – Dance Release (Tribe Records)

This is a special release, and not just because of the music. Four years and five months after our launch, Tribe Records is proud to announce it’s fiftieth release, and it’s the labels founder, Zepherin Saint at the controls, inviting Mr V to bring his inimitable vocal delivery to ‘Dance Release’.

4. Juan Caballero – Bajo El Agua (Blacklist)

5. Mike Scot, Richard Earnshaw & Chappell – Tonight (Duffnote)

During the ADE event in 2011, Richard Earnshaw and Mike Scot congregated at Cruise Control Studios in Amsterdam for a recording session which ultimately led to this collaboration with established singer songwriter, Chappell.

6. Aki Bergen & Daniel Jaze feat Ken Rosen – (Kolour Recordings)

7. Juan Kidd & Roland Clark – I Feel Good (Again) (Weirdo Recordings)

8. Sailor & I – Tough Love (Black Butter Records)

Sailor & I is a metaphor for two conflicting wills inside a person. It is part of most peoples’ everyday lives. Alexander Sjodin makes music of a similar persuasion – curiously compulsive and at the same time beautiful and strangely brutal. The producer, instrumentalist and singer from Stockholm has created a glacial track about adult relationships that recalls both Rhye and Fleet Foxes with its delicate string-led production, soaring vocal harmonies & its bright, frank imagery.

9. Marlon D – Cristo Redentor (Drum Power Tools) (Underground Collective)

10. Ian Pooley – What i Do – Remixes (Pooled Music)

Pooley owns everything Delano Smith ever made so it’s an honour to have him involved. The Detroit master does not disappoint with his sprawling and hypnotic Big City Dub of album track Tale Of TheBig City’. I Got You’ is undertaken by both Matthias Vogt, who uses sweeping chords for an epic touch, and Daniel Dexter who toughens up the groove along with a snaking synth line. Vogt, is an old friend of Pooley and loved the album so much he requested to be part of package. One half of Motorcitysoul, Vogt also has a project with Pooley M.V.I.P. Dexter is the Berlin based DJ/producer with his debut album out on Poker Flat. Prolific yet mysterious Berlin duo Kyodai, Shaboom Records founder Majik J and Cali’s
Suburban Dance Club all deliver solid interpretations of ?Bring Me Up’. Keeping the drive, Kyodai brings the classic vibe while Majik J injects bubbling electronics. Glen Brady from Suburban Dance Club provided the vocals on the original and happily stepped up to provide a pulsing, spacey stripped back rework.

11. DJ Mes – Up All Night (Guesthouse)

12. Various Artists – More Than A Remix (R2)
