Traxsource presents New Music Tuesday (October 22nd, 2013)

Traxsource presents The 12 hottest releases of the week, right here with New Music Tuesday October 22nd, 2013.

We kick of procedings with the #1 selection. A great 2nd Album from Deetron for Music Man ft the likes of Seth Troxler & Ben Westbeech. Definately deserves it’s place at the top.

Whats Hot This Week

1. Deetron – Music Over Matter (Music Man)

His second album, which will be released on Music Man Records, finds Deetron in a unique, transitional phase. The vocal element of his music coming to the fore, with Music Over Matter he proves that there is no substitute for substance and skill, putting music firmly back in the frame is the message, and how poignant to today’s tumultuous industry!

2. Max & Sims – Get It On Tonight (PornoStar Records)

3. Copyright – Cross My Heart EP (Defected)

Copyright make a powerful return to the studio with the audacity that has continued to fuel their career ever since first meeting two decades ago. Sam Holt and Gavin Mills have a gifted ability of injecting flair and soul into their productions which constantly radiate feel good vibes, and this release makes no exception. Their latest contribution to Defected stays true to the duo’s distinctive fashion. ‘Sacrifice’ contains a retro sounding hook that pays great respect to Jody Findley’s classically 90s-esque voice, a sound increasingly recurring in the house scene at present. Alternatively ‘Cross My Heart’ comes at a different angle, utilising Martha’s vocals for a soulful and poignantly beautiful track that is representative of the pair’s admirable knack for generating emotion within their work.

4. Smartology – Siyaya (Herbal 3 Records)

On this masterpiece Smartology offers us 9minutes of pure musical pleasure. The heavy drums on this jam get me wishing it was Friday already on a Tuesday evening. The title of the song says it all! its one of those songs you put on repeat when you are about to take a journey or a road trip with your buddies with a few cold ones in the boot while the hooter sample beeping in the midst of the song is guaranteed to get everyone in the traffic jam jamming to this jam. I personally cannot wait to get my hands on this EP. SIYAAYA!!!

Put your dancing shoes on, Smartology just cued the Senseless song. It took me longer than I thought it would to write a review about this Club banger because I was too busy jamming to it. The beat itself grabs one%u2019s attention from when the track starts until the end, not to mention the vocal that will get everybody going crazy at parties and singing in tongues even though they themselves don%u2019t understand what its saying. If the Senseless Song does not make you move, then you seriously need to consult your doctor, there is definitely something wrong with you.

5. Simian Mobile Disco – Tong Zi Dan (Delicacies)

Simian Mobile disco are back with more of the world’s only techno tasting menu, serving up a brand new platter for your delectation.

6. Jon Cutler & Raffa Scoccia – When It Rains Outside / No G Train Service (Distant)

Written & Produced by Jon Cutler & Raffa Scoccia
Deep Rhythms Music/ASCAP Administered by Warner Chappell Music/
Osio Records. Mixed at Thompson Studios NYC (Studio B)

7. Low Steppa – Listen Up (Freeze Dried)

UK Bassline monster Low Steppa drops a serious debut for Freeze Dried that is set to destroy the dance.

8. Kaye-Ree – Natural High (Surya Musica Dance)

9. DJ Mes – Boom Chika Boom (Guesthouse)

10. Tony Lionni ft Rachel Fraser – Take Me With You (Madhouse Records)

11. Dutchican Soul – Get On Down Remixes (Salted Music)

12. Le Brion – Take Your Time EP (Behold Recordings)

Le Brion is back, once again with his ill behavior. This time, he’s taking his time – burning up his latest solo EP. This release is simple, two straight-up no non-sense tech-house bombs designed with peak time in mind. Nuff said. Enjoy.
