4. Matthias Vogt – The Wobble Track (Large Music)

Esteemed artist and producer Matthias Vogt returns to Large Music with The Wobble Track. This classically trained jazz musician shows his chops on the title piece, layered with warm pads and a relentless wobble synth that dips and dives straight into Deep House perfection. We enlist the talents of the enigmatic producer and dj Montel to provide a quality remix and his version flips the composition into a straight up House stomper. As an added bonus, Matthias drops the slightly abstract Something in Common which clocks in as a piano-laden slow burner that hearkens back to the classic days of Chicago and Detroit underground warehouse sounds.

5. Rhythmic Groove – Groovers Delite Album Sampler Vol.2 (Mjuzieek Digital)

We said it all before, and the boys prove it once again with this HOT second album sampler, taken from their first artist album coming soon on Mjuzieek Digital, why they are one of our favourite production duo out there! RHYTHMIC GROOVE ROCK!

2 tracks on this sampler, both equally hot & sexy, funky & groovy and perfectly produced! Disco sampling and cutting heaven here we have to say, as only the boys know!

6. Lars Behrenroth – Madness Last Night (Deeper Shades Recordings)

“Madness Last Night” is a no nonsense dance floor igniter by Deeper Shades Recordings label head Lars Behrenroth. Bulletproof chord repetitions, flying effect swirls, happy synth trickles and a break with a solo sound that will inject an extra layer of excitement into your set.

7. Steve Huerta – Smoky EP (Manucci’s Mistress)

The Los Angeles based Steve Huerta popped up on our radar via his releases on the formidable Amadeus Records and Dirt Crew Recordings. Kicking off the EP is the title track ‘Smoky’, a late night house jam with sombre piano chords that weave their way round the track like hazy smoke in dimly lit room. Melancholic vocal cuts add a hefty slab of soul to the production. On the flip side is ‘Adrift’, deep pads are the order of the day here. Stretching across the track like a warm blanket, only briefly changing to climb up the scale. The bass line is perfect simplicity, 3 deep chugs of the sub are juxtaposed by a brief arpeggiated refrain.

8. Mihalis Safras – Crouton (Lapsus Music)

Here we go with another great new entry in the Lapsus Music family! We are happy to welcome Greece house master and Material owner Mihalis Safras with his first solo EP on the label. Crouton is a strong Old School & Garage vibe track supported by a groovy tech house beat and super dubby bass line. On the remix duties we welcome The Glitz that have turned the track into a more dark & straight tech house vibe while Minota went directly into a dubby house mix.

9. Antony Fennel – All The Good Times (Purple Tracks)

Antony Fennel wishes you a good time

10. GotSome feat The Get Along Gang – Bassline (Remixes) (Defected)

Like many tracks of its nature, ‘Bassline’ began its journey as an underground track and has since risen to become somewhat of an anthem. Defected Records released Bristolian duo GotSome’s debut ‘Bassline EP’. Packed with so much remix potential the track has been picked apart by some of the greatest minds in house music.

Up first is house legend Kenny Dope who provides a duskier rendition that commences with pounding off-beat percussion and pitched-down vocals before erupting into a wave of convulsing ethereal synths. Friend Within darkens the tone using echoing vocals and sinister synths to make way for a drop consisting of 2-Step percussion and a sullen hook. Established duo Chocolate Puma demonstrate their high-octane approach to house production with a prolonged build-up that progressively elevates before hitting a monstrous barrage of throbbing low-end and thudding kicks, and Chus & Ceballos round off this package with their dancefloor-focussed house roller.

11. Rhemi feat Nicole Mitchell – Tired (Rhemi Music)

Joining forces once again after the success of their fist single together ‘Let Me Be’. Rhemi and Nicole Mitchell turn out another stunning release with ‘Tired’. The main mix hits hard with minimal keyboard work, pulsating bass and thumping drums while Nicole glides over the record effortlessly and paints an amazing picture with her words. In contrast the classic mix injects a more soulful backdrop for the vocal to ride over. And lastly ,making his debut appearance on the label, the young and talented producer Phaze Dee from Greece submits a monster of a Dub mix. Bumping synths and a hooky bassline is the order of the day.

12. DJ Garphie feat Taminology & DJ Abza – Money Spender (Nulu)

A creation of a new partnership in Dj Garphie UK, Taminology and DJ Abza Pretoria SA…perfect for NuLu Music.
