2017 was a fruitful year for the genre, with many artists dipping their toes in the Techno pool and the abundance of more accessible Techno tracks as we witnessed further growth in the European Techno scene. We also saw many of the original pioneers of the scene back in the limelight, producing and touring the globe. Vivacious vocals and bouncing beats were everywhere this year, with the more soulful end of the house spectrum finding a new generation of adoring fans in the UK, across Europe to festivals in Croatia, and in Africa as well as traditional heartlands in the USA. A strong channel back to the original New York house scene, the sound has really been going from strength to strength over past few years; it refuses to fade away.
