A godfather of our scene, one half of Masters At Work, a Grammy winner and as of recent – a Grammy nominee once again, it’s indisputable that Vega’s presence can be felt across the world. His own imprint Vega Records, features releases from Mr. V, Sara Devine, Anané, Victor Davies, Cerrone and Vega himself and we’re delighted to be able to chat with Louie about the imprint this week as part of our Label Spotlight series…

With the launch of Louie Vega’s first ever solo album, ‘Starring…XXVIII’ on Friday 26th February 2016, we decided to have an in-depth, exclusive chat about all things house music. How did he and Kenny create the drums and atmospherics for The Nervous Track? How did the Nuyorican Soul album come about? What are his thoughts on the current house music scene?
